Keira and Justin met during what some may consider the least romantic period in modern history: the COVID-19 pandemic. After two Zoom dates, they arranged to have dinner together at a restaurant in Keira’s hometown of Hastings-on-Hudson and quickly found out that they enjoy spending time together even more in person. Over the last five years, Keira and Justin’s relationship has evolved from a summer of drive-in movies and picnics on the Hudson River to an entire life built together.

On August 10, 2024, Keira and Justin returned to the restaurant where they had their first date. After a romantic meal together, Justin suggested that they head to the waterfront to watch the sunset. The couple strolled through the park hand in hand, talking about their dreams for the future, until they came upon a sight that took Keira’s breath away: an arch adorned with flowers and a sign that asked, “Will you marry me?” Surrounded by the golden sky and warm candlelight, Justin dropped to one knee and proposed. Of course, Keira said yes! Cheers erupted as their families, who had been secretly watching nearby, emerged to celebrate alongside them.
